NSERC Funds Research on Mobile Computing Technologies

CAS professor Dr. Rong Zheng is the Principle Investigator of the recently funded NSERC Strategic Partnership Grant (SPG) on “ShareCrowd: A New Paradigm for Mobile Crowdsensing”. The project aims to develop novel algorithmic, data analytics and system solutions to lowering the barriers to participation and monetization in mobile crowdsensing. It is a collaborative project with Dr. Ruhai Wu from McMaster School of Business and Dr. Kui Wu from University of Victoria, and in partnership with two industrial partners. The research team will receive $481,100 from NSERC over three years.
