Pursuing the approach of the 2018 edition, the purpose of this conference is to bring together discrete optimizers and machine learning researchers, theory people and practitioners in an effort to bridge the fields and stimulate cross-disciplinary interaction

The conference is held at the RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (RIKEN-AIP).

Partial travel support for students has been generously offered by ISyE and RIKEN-AIP
