Annual reception for new retirees
Hosted by the University, this event is usually held on campus in the Autumn, with invitations going to all the newest retirees.
Annual Christmas Lunch and Scholarship Recipient Recognition
The luncheon is held at a local restaurant in early December each year, affording a regular opportunity for retirees to remake collegial acquaintances in a convivial setting.

Annual general meeting

Elections to fill vacant positions on Council
Elections are held at the annual general meeting and rely on the work of a nominating committee as well as on activity from the floor of the meeting.
Annual Meeting of the Colleges and Universities Retirees Association of Canada (CURAC)
Held in May each year at a College or University campus, MURA's membership in CURAC provides an opportunity for any member to attend.
Special Events
A Standing Committee of the MURACouncil is charged with the development of Special Events of potential interest to members. Suggestions for these are always welcome.
