1. Post-doctoral Researcher Position in Vision-based Target Tracking and Activity Recognition

One post-doctoral researcher position is available in the Data Science Lab and the Wireless System Research Lab, McMaster University, Canada to develop novel algorithmic and system solutions to multi-camera target tracking and activity recognition. The position is for two year and is renewable based on funding availability. The candidate is expected to:

have completed his/her Ph.D. degree in CS or a related field
have performed original research in the area of computer vision with good publication records
experiences in GPU programming and streaming processing platforms such as Apache Spark are a plus
have excellent English communication skills (oral and writing)
be able to work independently, as well as in a team;

The postdoc researcher will join a dynamic team of researchers in data management, mobile computing, and multi-sensor fusion, and work along side engineers in OverAir Proximity Technologies Ltd. for technology transfer.

One post-doctoral researcher position is available in the Wireless System Research Lab, McMaster University, Canada to develop novel wearable platforms and algorithm solutions to assessing mobility conditions of older adults. The position is for one year and is renewable based on funding availability. The candidate is expected to:

have completed his/her Ph.D. degree in ECE or a related field
have performed original research in the area of signal processing with good publication records
familiar with machine learning techniques
experiences in embedded system and mobile development are a plus
have excellent English communication skills (oral and writing)
be able to work independently, as well as in a team;

The postdoc researcher will work with researchers, healthcare professionals and target older population.
