Agile Manufacturing/eHealth/Medical Information Systems Group
This research group seeks to develop advances in, and applications to, the next generation of Agile Manufacturing/eHealth/Medical Systems. Agility is the capability of placing appropriate information into the decision-makers' hands at all levels of the enterprise. In so doing, the manufacturing/business/medical operation can respond in an optimum manner and in a timely fashion to even unexpected events. Key to this mode of operation is the Performance Support System which provides the mechanism to convert the plentitude of data into more practical information and, at the highest levels, into knowledge.
