Connect using desktop or tablet client

  • Download and install Horizon View client for your operating system from VMWare
  • Establish VPN connection to McMaster
  • Add following View Connection Server: virtualdesktop.cas.mcmaster.ca to access Windows 10 desktops used in labs ITB-235 and ITB-236.
  • Connect to the server using your CAS username and password
  • Select desktop pool

Connect using web browser

  • While a desktop/tablet client provides the best user experience and USB redirection when using virtual desktop, you can also connect using a supported web browser,
    simply navigate to https://virtualdesktop.cas.mcmaster.ca/ and follow instructions.
