Meetings for the Winter Term

Based on the responses that were received regarding availabilities, we have found that Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. is most suitable for the majority of the group. We understand that not everyone will be available for this time, but we are doing our best to accommodate as many group members as possible.

In light of this, our first meeting will be scheduling our first meeting of the Winter Term near the end of February on a Thursday from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Please see the Presentation Schedule for upcoming presentations. Details regarding the presentations will be posted as they become available.

Also, if you are interested in giving a presentation at one of our meetings, please contact the FRAISE Seminar Director with the details of the presentation.

Organization for the Winter Term

Thanks to everyone who responded with proposals for presentations. Our next order of business is to determine the best time to hold our meetings. We are interested in setting a fixed day within the month to have our meetings, for example, every third Thursday of each month.

In order to make this task as simple as possible, a PDF Form has been made for each group member to fill out with their availability for a suitable meeting time. We ask that each group member please fill out the form and send it to the FRAISE Seminar Director by January 25, 2013. Based on the results of the forms that are received, the time that best fits the most group members will be determined. The intention is to choose a time in order to have our first presentation in October. Your cooperation with this will be greatly appreciated.

Once we have chosen a suitable time, we will begin to formulate a presentation schedule. Details will follow.

Call for Presentations

We are looking to start up the FRAISE Research group again this term. Before we choose any meeting times, we are looking to see if anyone is interested in giving a presentation at one of our meetings.

Please remember, presentations can be technical, general, or otherwise; anything that would be of interest to the group. We aim for presentations to be one hour in length including time for questions and discussion.

If you are interested in giving a presentation at one of our meetings, please contact the FRAISE Seminar Director with the details of the presentation.
