Slides and reference material
Many slides are in PDF format. You'll need the free
Acrobat Reader
from Adobe to read them.
Chapters below are from the Textbook.
- Material for first midterm:
Chapter 7,
Chapter 8,
Chapter 9, and
Chapter 16.
There are no slides for the `GUI design' set of 2 Thursday lectures, although
the material is all taken from the book "Designing the User Interface:
Strategies for Effective Human-Computer Interaction" by Ben Schneiderman
[as well as my personal experience]. For Python,
I used the Python Tutorial
by Guido van Rossum.
- For the second midterm, all the above are still
relevant, as well as:
Chapter 6,
Hashing part 1,
Hashing part 2.
- And for the final, again all of the above is relevant
as well as:
Chapter 10,
Chapter 12,
Chapter 15,
Propositional Logic,
Predicate Logic.
More information will be posted soon.
There are some
applets available for various data structures and
algorithms on them that may prove helpful later on.
